Eddie Griffin thinks Dr. Conrad Murray is gettin' away with murder -- metaphorically -- because he thinks the Doc's bail was set WAYYYY too low for someone "we know injected Michael and killed him."
Griffin -- who was so close with Michael that he attended the famous 2004 molestation trial in Santa Maria -- had dinner with La Toya in Hollywood last night ... and on his way out, went off about the bail situation.
The comedian was a little off with his numbers (Murray's bail was set at $75k ... not $25k as Griffin insists), but he's clearly pissed off that a man like Murray got such a low bail, "but a regular little motherf**ker from the streets of Compton ... gets a million dollar bail."
FYI -- the judge in the Murray case actually departed upward from the standard bail rate in an involuntary manslaughter case ... it's usually set at $25k.
La Toya Jackson is next in line to fill Simon Cowell's shoes on "American Idol" -- that's if La Toya Jackson has anything to do with it.
We're told MJ's sister and former "Idol" producer Nigel Lythgoe cozied up at a housewarming party for Kathy Hilton in Bel Air recently -- before Simon broke his big news -- and the topic came up of La Toya possibly guest-judging on the show.
But now that Simon's out of the picture, La Toya wants more.
We spoke to her and she tells TMZ: "I would LOVE to be a judge on 'American Idol.' I would love to have a chance for the public get to know the real me. I would be thrilled."
Michael Jackson's father, Joe Jackson, has subpoenaed medical and other records from the UCLA Medical Center because he believes the records could reveal evidence of foul play in Jackson's death -- and the subpoena has outraged MJ estate lawyers ... TMZ has learned.
Joe's lawyer, Brian Oxman, sent 2 subpoenas to the UCLA Medical Center -- the hospital where Michael Jackson was pronounced dead on June 25. Oxman is asking for a number of documents, including medical records, autopsy reports, autopsy photos, medications and prognosis assessments.
Joe Jackson tells TMZ his entire family is behind the subpoenas -- Katherine, the brothers and sisters, along with him. He says they all believe the medical records will show what was in Jackson's body when he passed and they believe the information will expose foul play.
We've obtained a letter sent to Oxman by estate lawyer Howard Weitzman, in which Weitzman calls the subpoenas "clearly improper." Weitzman claims the subpoenas violate Jackson's right of privacy and the physician/patient privilege. Weitzman also says the subpoenas are irrelevant to Joe Jackson's only legal claim -- a financial allowance.
La Toya Jackson is in the holiday spirit ... to bash Chris Brown and Tiger Woods.
The Jackson sister was out buying holiday gifts at Target (pronounced Tar-jay) and when she came across Chris Brown's album, she picked up Rihanna's instead out of spite.
The next item on her list? A golf club to give to Tiger's wife.
Note to La Toya Jackson: Buying nighties for the kids is a great Christmas gift, but we're not talking nighties from Frederick's of Hollywood. Then again, they're Michael Jackson's kids.
Merry Christmas to all ... and to all a nightie night!
UPDATE: La Toya's rep called. Ms. Jackson didn't say what she meant. L.J. was at Frederick's buying a sexy Santa costume to wear at a toy giveaway for children and families affected with AIDS/HIV.
Mike, Charles and a very special guest took your questions on everything today -- including Adam Lambert getting dropped from GMA, Arnold Schwarzenegger's disregard for the law and why we laughed at Paula Deen.
Plus: Dr. Murray's ability to still administer Propofol -- and can he sue La Toya Jackson for calling him a "murderer" if he's cleared of playing a role in Michael's death?
Also: Mike defends OctoMom's hotness ... and says he'd make a play for Britney.
La Toya Jackson is still in attack mode over her brother's death -- shredding Dr. Conrad Murray last night and warning, "Nobody should hire him."
Last night outside of Boa Steakhouse, Michael Jackson's sister blasted the doc -- who just returned to work yesterday -- saying "Dr. Murray murdered my brother and it was wrong."
As we previously reported, most of his patients are actually excited to have him back.
The doctor who may have been responsible for the death of Michael Jackson will see you now.
Dr. Conrad Murray, personal physician to Michael Jackson at the time of his death, will resume his medical practice this morning, his lawyer said on Sunday.
Murray will be at the Armstrong Medical Clinic in Houston -- which was searched by police on July 22.
Murray has good reason to hang his shingle again. A judge has told him no more chances -- he either pays $1,000 a month in child support or he goes to jail, and that's just for one of his seven kids.
For references, please contact Katherine, La Toya or Janet Jackson.
UPDATE -- Earlier Sunday, Murray appeared at the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in Houston, where he appeared to cry during the service.
Dressed as ... your guess is as good as ours ... La Toya Jackson showed up at Millions of Milkshakes last night to work behind the counter to raise money for AIDS Project LA.
Tickets are going fast for the limited engagement of the MJ concert doc "This Is It" -- but there are two people who aren't scrambling to get seats: Michael's own mother and sister.
We got La Toya Jackson outside of Katsuya last night where she told us, "We're not seeing it, my mother, we're not seeing it."
As TMZ previously reported, 60 tickets were offered to the family, but Katherine insists no one ever called her about getting seats. We're also told Michael's three kids really want to see the flick.
Katherine Jackson made a front row appearance on "Dancing with the Stars" on Tuesday night -- and we're told she had such a great time ... that she's going back for more.
Katherine, Jermaine, and La Toya were invited to attend Tuesday's show for a special tribute to Michael Jackson -- and even though we're told Katherine didn't want to go at first, she loved it so much she requested tickets for Monday.
As for the Jackson family favorites ... it's a three-way tie between Kelly Osbourne, Maya, and Donny Osmond.
Check the sky for flying pigs -- because La Toya Jackson isn't talking crazy for once.
Last night outside Villa Blanca in Beverly Hills we asked Michael's sis about Paul Ankagetting 50% in publishing rights to "This Is It" -- and even though her face was hidden behind a fluffy pup, her answer made complete sense.
The coroner says the death of Michael Jackson was a homicide, but La Toya Jackson is still calling it murder.
La Toya was on "20/20" last night with Barbara Walters, where she once again asserted that Michael was murdered by people who would benefit financially from his death, but she doesn't know exactly who.
Dr. Conrad Murray, who administered the drug that resulted in Jackson's death, is the only person the LAPD is focusing on in their investigation.
La Toya Jackson is days away from losing her Las Vegas home -- unless she comes up with enough cash to pay the mortgage by the end of the month.
According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, La Toya owes $745,670.27 on her swanky condo in the Regency Towers of the LV International Country Club.
The docs show the house will go up on the auction block if she doesn't pay up.
The Clark County Recorder's office tells us the auction was originally schedule for August 31 -- but it was postponed. The new auction date is September 30.
La Toya's rep gave us this statement:
"La Toya has an extensive real estate portfolio and her advisors directed her to the business decision to let this particular property to go to short sale where it is now.
The property was also something she got during her divorce from Jack Gordon and she has no attachment to it."
